Art
The Art Module is a year long module. Students go into great detail about different techniques involved in many different styles of art.
Aims and Objectives:
To help inspire each student when they are given a new assignment
To ensure each project is of the highest standard
To make sure all projects are moving along at a cosistent pace.
Teaching Plan:
Students are given
one
project for each term.
The first term was Christmas themed so their project was Christmas hats.
The second term consisted of Nature Drawings, e.g. Animals,trees etc
For the third and forth term the TY students have to make clay ornaments.
Method of Assessment:
Performance during class
Enthusiasm towards assessment
Overall finished assessment
Evaluation:
Students should know the difference between textures and how different techniques work to achieve each one.
Students should be able to differentiate between the tools used and be able to say what each do.
Student's skills should have improved in all aspects of art e.g. clay, painting, drawing, designing, etc.
